Thomas P. Smith

It is with great sadness that the family of Thomas Patrick Smith, of Collegeville, announce his passing after a long illness, on Saturday January 2nd 2021. He was 68 years old. He was survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Donna, and his three children, Ashley E Bergen ( Matthew), Victoria L. ( Michael)., and Andrew T. ( Kathleen). Thomas will also be fondly remembered by his 4 grandchildren, Grace, Issac, Autumn, and Juliette, his mother, Elizabeth ( Schlenske) Smith, a brother, Michael (Deborah), and a sister Jacqueline Rigby ( Steven). Thomas was predeceased by his father Frank (Hugh Francis), and brothers Timothy and Matthew. Thomas was retired from IBEW local 380 ( 98 north) as a journeyman electrician of 42 years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, mechanic, boater, and camper. He was a member of St. Eleanor Parish for many years. Thomas graduated from Bishop Kendrick High School in 1971. He loved life and lived it to it’s fullest, preferring to fill his days with his family. He was a spiritual man who believed in aiding the needy and dedicated his time to elevate the misfortunate and help others. Due to the pandemic, he asked that his service be private.
