Steven Caban passed suddenly on March 16, 2021. He was predeceased by his mother Blanche Caban. He is survived by his father, Hipolito Caban, brothers Larry and Mark Caban, sons, Aaron and Gregory Caban, daughter, Marissa Novasak (Caban) and 10 grandchildren. Steven was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 15, 1950. He joined the US Army and served in Vietnam. He later moved to California, where his sons were born. Steven finally settled in Royersford, Pennsylvania with his family where he worked for the National Weather service in Philadelphia. He was friendly and loved meeting new people. He often greeted people in their native language and loved to learn about their traditions and culture. He loved to reminisce about his days growing up in Brooklyn. You would often find Steven talking about his children and grandchildren with great pride. He enjoyed reading, cycling, and spending time with his loved ones and pets. He will be greatly missed here on Earth, but is home with the Lord. A service will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940) on Thursday April 8th at 11 am.
