Sharon Bradwell George, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and esteemed community member, passed away peacefully on January 18th, 2024, celebrated by her loving family. She was 74 years old.
Born on January 24th, 1949, Sharon lived a life filled with warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family and community. She was a pillar of strength and kindness, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sharon was a native of Schenectady, New York where she spent her childhood years cultivating lifelong friendships and cherished memories. She was the daughter of Gino and Ruth Battisto.
Sharon Bradwell George is survived by her devoted husband, Rick George; her loving children, Thomas Bradwell III (Daisy), Tiffany Duerson (Abe) and Corrine Bradwell; her cherished grandchildren Justin, Isaiah, and Christian; her brother Bill; and a host of extended family members and dear friends.
As a mother and grandmother, Sharon radiated joy and tenderness. Her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure, were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, imparting invaluable lessons that will resonate for generations to come.
Sharon will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her boundless generosity, and her innate ability to find joy in the simplest of moments. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Though she may no longer walk beside us, Sharon's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her. May she rest in eternal peace.
