Michael Mallon Obituary

Michael W. Mallon of Royersford passed away suddenly on February 21,2021 at his residence. He was 62 years old. Born in Athy, outside of Dublin, Ireland on June 9th, 1958 and was the son of Michael C. and Margaret (Aldrige) Mallon.

He grew up in the New Rochelle, NY area and he eventually attended Iona College in the town and received his Bachelor’s Degree in finance.

Over the years, he worked with many corporations in accounting and finance and his last position was with UGI corporation located in Pennsylvania. Michael enjoyed playing golf and doing home improvements.

He is survived by his brother; Joe, his sister; Tara, his very closest and dearest friend; Paul Bailey of Stamford, CT, and Lisa Love and her son, Joey Love, who Michael mentored for the past 10 years. Michael’s family and dear friends pay tribute to him as one of the kindest, hard working, intelligent, and good humored person. Those who knew him were very fortunate. He will be sadly missed.
