Kevin J. Rogan, age 70, passed away on Monday, April 15th, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Germantown to the late Edward and Alice (O’Connell) Rogan. Kevin is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet (Kelly) Rogan, his 4 children, Kara, Kevin, Kelly and Kyle, and his grandchildren, Declan and Annabelle. Also surviving are his sisters, Deirdre, Alicia and Sheila, and his brother, Brian. He is preceded in death by his brother, (Edward) Patrick.
Kevin graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School in 1972. He was a proud member of The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 98 for over 35 years. In his younger days, he worked for years as a bartender and bouncer at the Willow Grove VFW, where he made many lifelong friends, including two of his best friends, Bob Neely, and John “Sunny” Thourot.
Kevin will be remembered for his big heart, his love of The Philadelphia Eagles, old cars, Sea Isle City and anything Irish ~ he was born on St. Patrick’s Day, after all! Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Monday, April, 22nd from 10am-11am, followed by a Funeral Mass, both of which will be held at St Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Rd, Horsham, PA 19044.
The family requests that all attendees please wear Eagles gear! No formal attire. No black (that isn’t Eagles related). Let’s send him off in true Kevin style. Kevin will be taken to his final place of rest in a private ceremony by his family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society at cancer.org/donate
