Julianna Sue McDonald

Julianna Sue entered her heavenly home on September 5, 2022 at the age of 82. She was born to Newellyn and Emma Adams on May 20th, 1940 in Doylestown, Pa. She grew up in Bucks and Montgomery counties Pennsylvania.

In her early years, she enjoyed living with her family on her grandparent’s farm in Rushland, PA and enjoyed playing and caring for the family pets and farm animals. Julie also liked attending school, reading mysteries and attending Sunday School. Julie graduated from Council Rock High School in Newtown, Pa and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Eastern College and Pepperdine University respectively. Julie was married in 1962 on her grandparents farm in Rushland, Pa.

Julie enjoyed a diverse and challenging career with increasing positions of responsibility across the pharmaceutical, teaching and I.T. industries. Later in life she enjoyed studying genealogy, piano playing and spending time at the beach.

Throughout her life, Julie enjoyed serving in her local church with responsibilities that included organ playing, teaching Sunday School and various leadership roles.

She is survived by her aunt Jean Tease, three children and their spouses, Drew and Rachel McDonald, Tim and Sharon McDonald and Jonathan and Melissa Adams her ten grandchildren and spouses, James and Samantha, Christy and Nick, Ryan, Erin, Cameron and Sabrina, Shane, Caelan, Rhys and Beau.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church located at 837 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, Pa 19446. A time for meeting with the family from 11:00a to 12:00p followed by a memorial service from 12:00p to 12:30p.
