Joanne M. (Valerio) Robbins

Joanne M. (Valerio) Robbins of West Norriton passed away peacefully at her home on October 15, 2021. She was 74 years old. Born in Norristown on January 13, 1947, Joanne was the daughter of the late Michael F. and Mary F. (Greco) (Valerio) Raffeo and step daughter of the late John A. Raffeo.

She was a 1964 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School. Joanne had a vibrant energy and brought excitement and liveliness when she entered a room. She was an amazing and loving woman, always giving of herself and her time even when not asked. She worked in child care for many years. All the kids fondly called her “JoJo” and she was so proud to be a part of their lives. Joanne was an avid bowler for many years, she enjoyed the summertime being in the sun, shopping at the outlets in Lancaster, and going birding and fishing with her husband. And most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

Joanne is survived by her family: her loving husband of 55 years, Charles E. Robbins; her children, Alan Robbins and Lisa (Chris) Oakley; and her 2 adored grandchildren, Jacob and Trevor Oakley.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday October 29, 2021 from 9:30 – 10:45 AM followed by Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at Visitation B.V.M. Church 196 North Trooper Road, Norristown. Int. private.
