Jeremy Cosgrove Obituary

Jeremy Peter Cosgrove, 48, of Limerick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, September 17, 2020, due to a chronic illness. He was born on June 15, 1972, in Norristown, PA to Terrence and Mary Cosgrove (Skreenock). Jeremy is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila Cosgrove; their children, Ian Cosgrove (his fiancé, Logan Harrison), Ariel Cosgrove (her fiancé John Hintz), and Coral Cosgrove; his granddaughters, Jillian Petrowski, Clara Hintz, and Elizabeth Hintz; and brother Jonathan Cosgrove. He is preceded in death by his father, Terrence Cosgrove, and brother, Christopher Cosgrove. There are far too many words to describe Jeremy, “O.G Poppy”, but his family has come up with a few: witty, articulate, laid back, hard-working, stubborn, and devoted. He was an excellent and accomplished contractor for 20 years prior to retiring. After retirement, he acquired several hobbies which included: photography, landscaping, motorcycles, skiing, and “inventing” in his shed. A mass in celebration of Jeremy’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Interment will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Royersford, PA 19468. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jefferson Health Hospice whose medical team took amazing care of Jeremey in his final weeks of life: give.abingtonhealth.org/hospice or call 215-481-4438.
