Helena A. “Neen” (Raffeo) Poysden of Collegeville passed away, after a long battle, on Sunday October 25, 2020 at her residence. She was 69 years old. Born in Norristown on October 18, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Russo) Raffeo. Helena attended St. Eleanor School and was a 1969 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School. She was a life long member of the St. Eleanor Parish. Helena was retired from the Eagleville Hospital where she worked as an Executive Assistant and was also the co-owner of Mike’s Disposal of Collegeville. She was a loyal friend to many and cherished the time with her family, grandchildren, cousins, and friends. Her door was always open for anyone to visit. She enjoyed the gatherings at her home. Helena is survived by her loving husband of 48 years; Michael Poysden, her daughter; Natalie (Brian) Bizon, her son; Michael (Jacqueline) Poysden, and her five grandchildren; Matthew and Alex Bizon, and Michael, Drew and Lauren Poysden. Relatives and friends invited to her viewing Friday October 30th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home 19 East Germantown Pike (at Hannah Ave. and next to Shoprite ), East Norriton. In addition, there will be a viewing on Saturday in church from 10:30 – 11:15 AM followed by Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Eleanor’s Roman Catholic Church 647 Locust Street Collegeville. Entombment to follow at St. Patrick’s Mausoleum.
