German A. “Tony” Martinez

German Antonio "Tony" Martinez, age 61,  passed away suddenly on Friday, September 29, 2023 at his home in Norristown, Pa. He was born on October 11, 1961 in San Salvador, El Salvador. He was the son of the late Jose Antonio Martinez and Irma Angelica Martinez - Perez.

Survived by his daughters; Angela Beto(Angie) & Melanie Martinez, his sons; German Martinez Jr. (Tj) & Juan Martinez, his grandchildren; Xzavier Medina (X), Giovanni Beto (Gio), Thomas Martinez, Skylar Beto & Sophia Martinez, his brother; Juan Martinez, his sisters; Carmen Martinez- Natuzzi, Norma A. Jackson & Delmy Martinez. He also had many nieces and nephews.

Tony worked for Senior Living Home Care agency as a care taker. In addition, he worked many years for the Gallo Brothers and for Oliver Construction Inc. as a construction worker and Norristown Public Library in maintenance. In his spare time he loved and really enjoyed fishing. He also liked spending time with his family, playing on his x-box, watching Kung Fu movies and watching his Flyers & Redskins games. He would always joke around, especially with the kids, and  would teach them Kung Fu and martial arts moves.

Tony will be remembered for his showing of  love and  care for others  and his humor. He was the kind of guy that would be right there for you if you ever needed help with anything.

Tony's viewing is  Monday, October 16th from 6pm-8pm at Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home 19 East Germantown Pk, Norristown, PA 19401.         Int. Private
