Obituary

Gerard M. Conroy, 83, passed away on March 11th after a brief illness. He was born in the Fall in Philadelphia, 1939. Gerard was a Butcher by trade. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Engineers. He served proudly alongside his best friend Punchy in peace time Germany. He grew up in Roxborough, raised a family in Belmont Hills and enjoyed time in Somers Point, NJ.

Gerard was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary, his brothers Jack and Tom Conroy, and his grandson Ryan Gerard Conroy. He is survived by his wife Ann (Zuccari) Conroy, son Michael (Wendy) Conroy, daughter Christina (Christopher) Farrell and his Grandchildren Zachary Jaggers, Michael Conroy, Allison and Jack Farrell.

Gerard enjoyed detailing his car, fishing with a bamboo pole, parades, a good laugh and a corny joke.

Services and Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers or donations, take someone fishing this summer. He would like that.
