Frederick C. Conard of King of Prussia passed away on February 15, 2020 at the Manor Care facility. He was 68 years old. Born on May 16, 1951 in Norristown and was the son of the late Gerald and Elva ( Fink ) Conard. Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. He worked in maintenance in the Perkiomen School District. He also had a business that involved the buying and selling of scrap metals. Fred was a member of the Montgomery County Historical Society, enjoying history, especially, the Civil War where he even participated in reenactments. He was an animal lover with cats and dogs being his favorites and also was very fond of steam trains. A special thanks goes out to the men’s group at Evansburg Methodist Church for their support of Fred during his years of illness and, also, thanks to the staff at Manor Care, King of Prussia, for their loving care. Fred is survived by his wife; Sandra L. (Clayton) Conard, his aunt; Kathleen Myers, and four cousins. Relatives and friends invited to his viewing Saturday February 22nd from 10:00 – 10:30 AM followed by Funeral Service 10:30 AM at the Riverside Cemetery Chapel 200 South Montgomery Ave. Norristown, PA 19403 Entombment to follow in the mausoleum. Donations in Fred’s memory may be made to an Animal Shelter of choice.
