Carol Ann MacDonald

Carol Ann MacDonald 6/21/47 – 11/23/22 Carol passed away on November 23, 2022 at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with cancer in the home of her loving daughter. Despite the pain, Carol stayed strong until the end.

Carol was born in Philadelphia on June 21, 1947 to her loving parents Ernest Alexander MacDonald and Carolina Kate VonRohr. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965. She pursued a variety of career paths all of which she enjoyed. She was a bookkeeper, a seafood store owner, floral designer, and manager at a candy store just to name a few.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Carol. She loved reading, cooking, crafting, quilting and crocheting. She found so much beauty in nature. She loved the changing of the leaves in the fall, the crashing of the waves on the beach in the summer, and the blooming of the flowers in the spring. Carol loved to laugh and with her sassy personality she had such a great sense of humor. She loved animals and tried to help all those that crossed her path, both big and small. She got joy in feeding the birds and squirrels and could watch them for hours from the windows of the house. Carol loved all the cats in her daughters home, but Goobie was her best boy and never left her side.

Carol is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer. As well as her daughter Krista and grandsons Anthony and Alec. She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Carolina as well as her two younger brothers Charles and Ernest. I am sure they were waiting to greet her in heaven.
