Brooke McIntyre Jr. Obituary

Brooke M. McIntyre, Jr. of Harleysville passed away peacefully at his home on Monday November 16, 2020 after his battle with cancer. He was 65 years old. Born in Norristown on April 2, 1955 and was the son of the late Brooke M. Sr. and Ella (Fisher) McIntyre. He was a 1973 graduate of Norristown High School, followed by attending Montgomery County Community College and Gwynedd Mercy College where he acquired degrees in business and computer science. He was employed at Penco Products, Braskem and Endo. His specialty was in SAP, the leader in enterprise application software. His computer knowledge was vast and diverse and there were few problems he could not solve. He was an active member of AMBUCS, an organization that creates independence for people with disabilities. Brooke enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating, travel and, of course, anything that involved a beautiful beach. His pleasant smile and great sense of humor was admired by the many friends he made. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter; Kimberly McIntyre, and on the pet side, he had three cats that passed away; Morgan, Bones, and Kasey. Brooke is survived by his best friend, love of his life and wife of 44 years; Theresa (Bean) McIntyre, his daughters; Heather (Brett Deyo) McIntyre – Deyo of Millsboro, DE, and Melissa McIntyre of King of Prussia, his siblings; Holly McIntyre-Jackewitz, of Upper Gwynedd, B. Scott (Evelyn) McIntyre of Conshohocken, and Elizabeth (Brian Hess) McIntyre-Hess of Red Hill, his grand-kitties; Dela, Crush, May, and Shadow. A service will be scheduled at a later date. Donations in Brooke’s memory may be made to National Ambucs in High Point, NC or Cancer Research Foundations such as Stand Up To Cancer and the American Cancer Society. “The loss is immeasurable…but so is the love that is left behind.”
