Brenda L. Carlin

Brenda Lynn Carlin, 65, passed away on March 5, 2023, after a 4-year battle with cancer. She leaves a huge hole in the hearts of family and friends who will miss her contagious, outgoing personality and ability to make others smile.

Born in West Chester, Pennsylvania on February 12, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Yarnall Sr and Dorothy “Dottie” Willard. Brenda graduated from West Chester East High School in 1977 and enlisted in the United States Army shortly after. She was deployed to Korea for a year during her enlistment. Brenda enjoyed a career in medical billing and was employed with Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia for the past 16 years.

Brenda loved the beach, angels, and country music, and she had a soft spot for dogs. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her 3 grandchildren and she could always be found out on the dance floor at weddings, concerts, and parties.

She will be missed by her loving family and is survived by her husband of 36 years, Joseph J. Carlin; her son, Joe Carlin, and his wife Katie; her grandchildren, Connor, Joey, and Claire; her brother Terry and wife Donna; sister Lisa and husband Paul; brother Larry, her brother-in-law Larry and wife Kristin; her brother-in-law Eddie and wife Kristin; and her beloved nephews and nieces, Eddie, Erinn, Chris, and Kennedy.

She is predeceased by her brothers Jeff and Tim.

A funeral mass to celebrate Brenda's life is scheduled for Saturday, March 25th at 10AM at St. Agnes Chapel, 233 West Gay Street, West Chester, PA 19380.
