William Kinsolving Obituary William "Bill" Kinsolving was born on May 20, 1960, to Joseph F. Kinsolving Sr. and Rosemary M. [nee McGrail]. He was the 5th child, their 2nd son. They moved to Yeadon, PA, where Bill attended St. Louis Elementary School and Monsignor High School. Bill enjoyed playing football and baseball while he was growing up. He was always a bit of a daredevil, ot afraid of anything. As long as he got a laugh it was a great moment, even if it ended up in the emergency room. He was an optimist and always focused us on the positive. Bill was funny, he could light up a room. He was also a fierce protector of all of his sisters.
Bill was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Joseph [2000] and Rosemary [2016], he is survived by the love of his life, his beautiful daughter Amanda Stewart [nee Kinsolving] of St. Augustine, Fl, grandson Robert "R.J" Whiteaker also of Florida. His siblings Joseph, Karen, Meg, Bonnie, Rosemary, Michelle, and Kristine. Bill also has many nieces, nephews, and friends left behind laughing and crying as they remember his antics and escapades that were characteristic of his life. He was stubbornly passionate about many things in life. Bill will be remembered by his independent stake in life developed very young and continued until the end. To those who knew him he was a determined man, not easily swayed by reason. He was willful, practical, and headstrong. He never wanted to see anyone sad or worry about him, so he would always try to lighten everyones spirits with his jokes. True to who he was Bill left this world Monday July 15th, 2024 after a short, quiet battle with cancer.
Bill spent the last of his years working for a non profit organization that assisted others with housing, home repairs, food distribution, and traveling out of state if needed. He was happiest when he was fixing something or busy with tools, playing games, or having a beer in hand laughing with friends.
Bills life will be celebrated on Septemeber 21, 2024 at Governor Printz Park in Tinicum Township from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm. All are welcome to share memories of Bill and celebrate his life with us.
