Obituary

Walter Lynch Obituary Walter Lynch passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 12, 2019. Walter grew up in Glenside, PA, where he attended St. Lukes Elementary and Cheltenham High School. He loved to spend his time playing sports, especially street hockey, tinkering with his Chevy Nova and listening to music, and drinking coffee and being surrounded by family. Walter made a friend no matter where he went and you were a better person for having known him and spent time with him. Walter is predeceased in death by his Mother, Mary Jane Lynch (nee Lewis). He is survived by his Father, Walter J. Lynch. His sons Lawrence Lynch (Connie) and Michael Lynch (Melissa). Brothers and Sister. Timothy Lynch (Karyn), Patrick Lynch, Maria Lynch and David Lynch. Also by several nieces and nephews and grand-children, aunts, uncles and cousins, who all loved him very dearly. Those who knew Walter knew how gentle his heart and soul were. As clich as it may sound, Walter would give the shirt off his back or last penny in his pocket, even if it was all he had to his name. In lieu of funeral services and to honor Walters character, we ask that all who wish to participate, make a donation to Horizon House, https://app.etapestry.com/hosted/HorizonHouse/OnlineDonation.html. In his memory. Keeping with Walters giving spirit, his remains will be donated to Gift of Life, where he will be able to give the gift of sight, assist burn victims and help transplant patients. If you are already an organ donor please consider adding this to your license or visit their website to learn more at www.donors1.org. The Lynch family will be celebrating Walters' life privately.
