It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stephen M. Wellman of West Chester, PA on May 6, 2025 at the age of 60.

A proud alumnus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Stephen dedicated his professional life to aviation, contributing his skills at Boeing on the Chinook Helicopters.

Stephen is survived by his beloved son, Matthew Wellman, his mother Regina Wellman, and two sisters, Lisa Duffy and Julie Jasper. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Cathy Wellman, and his father, Howard Wellman.

Outside of work, Stephen found joy in numerous hobbies. He had a passion for motorcycles and cars, and he loved spending time fishing. With an innate talent for fixing engines, he enjoyed countless hours in the garage, sharing meaningful moments with his son. Stephen also treasured long motorcycle rides through the picturesque landscape of Chester County with Matthew, friends or even alone.  These rides gave him peace and comfort.

Private family services will be held to honor Stephen. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
