Stephen Scarafone Obituary Stephen Michael Scarafone June 22, 1960 June 23, 2023 Stephen Michael Scarafone (63) passed away from natural causes at his home in Norristown on Friday, June 23rd. Steve had recently been dealing with numerous health issues. Steve was a life-long resident of Norristown and attended Norristown Area High School. He later received his GED through the Ursinus College Adult Education Program. Steve also attended the Gordon Phillips Beauty School, becoming a licensed hairstylist. Steve was known in the area as an extremely skilled barber for over 30 years. Steve enjoyed music of all types, pop culture, and following the Phillies. He spent much of his time with his partner of over 35 years. Steve loved sharing a meal, talking to, and praying with his life-long friend and partner. Steve was very spiritual and always kept Jesus the center of his life. Steve is survived by his partner Larry Cherelli also of Norristown. He is also survived by his brothers, Vincent Scarafone (sister-in-law Sandy), Paul Anthony Scarafone Sr.; nephews Nicholas Scarafone, James Scarafone, and niece Mariah (Scarafone) Gwin, all residents of West Norriton. He is predeceased by his father Vincenzo (James) Scarafone; mother Theresa (Rotandi) Scarafone; sisters Antoinette (Lalli) Spinozzi, Denise (Scarafone) Russell; nephews Richard Spinozzi, Paul Anthony Scarafone Jr., and niece Erica Scarafone.
