RoseAnn C. Montalbano Obituary RoseAnn Montalbano (Gilette) of Norristown passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 5, 2024. RoseAnn was born on July 17, 1947 and was the wife of the late Jospeh C. Montalbano also known as Monty. She was the cherished daughter of the late Alfonso and Mary (DAmbrosia) Gilette. A proud graduate of Our Mother of Sorrows grade school and Saint Cyrils Academy for High school. She then pursued her passion for caring for others by earning her nursing degree from St. Josephs Nursing School in Reading. RoseAnn dedicated over 50 years of her life to serving others through nursing. She practiced in various settings, including the ICU at Chestnut Hill Hospital, and over 20 years as dialysis nurse at Haverford Dialysis Unit where she earned the title of nurse manger and was known for her compassion and commitment to her patients. She was also the office manager at her sons chiropractic office for over 15 years. Most recently, she served at Holy Savior Rectory and as a private nurse, providing end of life care imbued with love and dignity. RoseAnn was not only a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother but also a nurturing presence in the lives of many. She had a unique gift for staying connected, often sending heartfelt texts on special occasions to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries of loved ones who had passed. Her kindness knew no boundsshe was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She is survived by her beloved son, Dr. Russell T. Montalbano, his wife Gina, and their five cherished children: Joseph, Mikayla, Charles, Cecilia, and Gianna. RoseAnn is also survived by her sisters Frances Modica (Joseph Modica deceased) Alberta Bird and husband Chris, brothers-in-laws Russell W. Montalbano and Thomas D. Montalbano as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. RoseAnn's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends invited to her viewing Tuesday eve. from 6 8 PM at the Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home 19 East Germantown Pike ( at Hannah Ave. ), East Norriton In addition, a viewing for RoseAnn will be Wednesday from 9:00 9:45 AM at Holy Saviour Church 407 East Main Street, Norristown followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM Burial to follow at St. Patricks Cemetery. In honoring her memory, let us celebrate the countless lives she touched and the love she freely gave.
