Robert Flick Obituary Robert Duane Flick, 87, passed away in Philadelphia, PA on Thursday, February 24, 2022. He was born on March 8, 1934, in Worthington, PA to the late Robert and Miriam (Hoyt) Flick. Bob graduated from Worthington High School, and attended the University of Pittsburgh for two years, before being drafted into the United States Army. Upon honorable discharge from the service, Bob worked as a clerk at Clausen Pipe Company, where he met his future wife Patricia "Patti" Kiernan, and they were united in marriage on August 15, 1964. He later worked for Conrail as a clerk, and in 1996 retired to Ocean City, NJ. Bob was always trying to make people laugh, and he was a very thoughtful person. He loved to travel with his family, especially to Disney, and enjoyed watching the horse races. Bob is survived by his daughter Patricia and husband Thomas Maguire, of Collegeville, PA, and his son Robert and wife Yvonne Flick, of Philadelphia, PA; his grandchildren Kayley DiPaolo, Brooke Maguire, Ryan Maguire and Jessica Maguire; his great grandsons Jasper Alvarado and Caiden Leber; his brother William Flick, of Costa Mesa, CA; and loving nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patti Flick; his son Michael Flick; his brother Thomas Flick; his sisters Judith (Flick) Trulick and Carole (Flick) McHaddon; and his granddaughter Tatum Sheridan. A celebration of life will be held for him on April 2, 2022 in Ocean City, NJ.
