Robert Burkey Jr. Obituary Robert (Bobby) L. Burkey Jr. , of Norristown, PA passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon January 4, 2020 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center at the age of 69. He was born on May 19, 1950 in Norristown, PA to the late Robert L. Burkey Sr. and the late Dorothy M. Burkey (Leonard) of Taylors Island, MD. Robert was a mechanic and carpenter for many years until he became disabled. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed doing things for others. He would help anyone whom was in need. He is proceeded in death by both parents, his eldest daughter Valerie Winner, brother Michael Burkey and nephew Joshua Burkey. He is survived by his daughters Andrea Burkey and husband Peter Long of Sanatoga, PA and Tina Kling and husband Kenneth Kling Jr. of New Philadelphia, PA, six grandchildren Barbara, Robert, Kenneth III, Tylor, Alexander and Hailey as well as his brothers Gary (Mildred) Burkey and Joseph (Patricia) Burkey, sister Dorothea (Thomas) Matey, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home at 19 East Germantown Pike, Norristown PA 19401 on Friday January 10th, 2020 from 10:00 am-11:30am, service to follow.
