Rachel C. Jennings Obituary We remember Rachel C Jennings, who departed from us on August 20th, 2024 at the precious and young age of 30. Rachel, who was a beacon of unwavering friendship and kindness, has left an incredible mark on the hearts of all who were lucky enough to meet her, let alone know her - or even grow to love her. Born on November 25, 1993 Rachel walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with an unforgettable grace. She will be forever in the hearts of those who knew her. Rachel C Jennings was a star pupil in school, achieving acceptance into the "Gifted and Talented" program, and singing in every chorus and choir available. Singing a cappella was another gift Rachel had, and she took pride singing in the Madrigals group. Rachel was salutatorian at Smiling Faces Early Learning Center, and won first place in her science fair. She also received a 2 year scholarship from the NAACP for scoring 2200 on her SATs as an African American Woman. Rachel Jennings married Sarah (Wilt) Jennings on September 23, 2018. Together they spent almost 6 years married, but were together over 10 years. She is also survived by her two very cherished dogs, Riley Chan Jennings (Age 8) and Stan Lee Jennings (Age 5). Rachel is predeceased by her cherished Grandmother- Chong Langford, who , we are sure, she is Beyond happy to be reunited with. There will be a service & gathering for those who would like to attend.
