Paul Semion Jr. Obituary Paul Semion, 85, passed away peacefully in his home at Rose Tree Place in the early morning of November 29, with his daughter by his side. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 63 years, Dolores, in March. He was also preceded in death by his dear sister, Pauline Histed, in 2017 and his friend and brother-in-law, William Heston, in 2015. He is survived by his daughter- Kelli Semion Schweitzer and her husband Derrick, grandsons- Jack and Owen, brothers- Joseph and Robert (Marie), brother-in-law- Girard Histed, sister-in-law- Mary Lou Heston, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Paul was born on May 25, 1937 in Taylor, PA and was the oldest child of Anna (Churnock) and Paul Semion. After graduating from Moosic High School, Paul proudly served in the Navy. He married Dolores (Heston) shortly after being discharged. While still a newlywed, Paul began a long career at IBM. Paul and Dolores lived for a short time in Peekskill, NY, then Hammonton, NJ, before settling for the next 40 years in Paoli, PA. He was a long-time member of St. Issac Jogues in Wayne, PA. Paul was happiest when he was with his grandchildren or playing golf. Despite dealing with dementia and cancer, his grandsons and brother Joe were able to get him out on a golf course one last time this fall. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff at Rose Tree Place for the loving care they provided to Paul in the last year of his life. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church 50 West Walker Road (Valley Forge) Wayne, PA 19087. Internment immediately following mass at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery 1600 Sproul Road Springfield, PA 19064.
