Nina Raffeo Obituary Nina A. Raffeo of Pottstown, passed on peacefully into the arms of Jesus Christ on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Phoenixville Hospital. Nina was born in Norristown, PA on January 26, 1947, and graduated from Norristown High School. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Greco Raffeo; and Antonina Santangelo Raffeo who passed away when Nina was 19 years old. For most of her 75 years of life Nina lived in group homes for people with special needs where strangers became part of her family. For the past 15 years, she lived in a Helping Hands home. While there she received the love, compassion and support she needed to live her best life during her senior years. She attended the Helping Hands Day Program Center, and she loved reading, talking on the phone, watching her favorite TV shows, going out to dinner, shopping, and spending time with her family. Ninas life brought joy and love to those who knew her and cared for her. She will be truly missed by many. Nina is survived by her stepsisters Lorraine Lamb (Jack) and Maryann Vitelli (Charles). Nina was preceded in death by her brother Gus Raffeo and her stepsister Joanne Robbins. Friends and family are invited to Ninas viewing on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a prayer service at 10:30 at the Raffeo-DiCecco Funeral Home 19 East Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19401. Interment will follow at St. Patricks Cemetery 2300 DeKalb Pike, Norristown, PA 19401.
