Neil Riggs Obituary As He Moves on. Very quietly and peacefully on January 23 Neil Wm. Riggs closed his eyes and entered into his eternal rest. Neil as he was affectionately known by friends was born December 1., 1954 in Camden, NJ. He was the son of the late Helen Purnell and Melvin Riggs. Neil received his formal education from the Camden, N.J Public school system. He attended his last three years in Camden Catholic High School graduating in the class of 1972. Neil received college education graduating from Rutgers College. Over the years he acquired many skills and talents. His passion was being a truck driver in which he had numerous jobs. Neil was a good husband to me. He provided whatever I needed, and I did the same for him. Neil was a quiet man but did not take no mess from no one. He could be mean at times. Neil was a fun, loving, free spirited person with an outgoing personality. He did not care what was said out his mouth. He loved boxing. He also loved movies, eating, listening to oldies, dancing, traveling, and driving his car. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Neil got married to Stacy Walker (of Phila. PA) on November 17, 2009.
