Obituary

Lydia Hernandez Dayrit of King of Prussia passed away on February 9, 2025 at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital. She was 84 years old. Born in the Philippines to the late Magtangol and Belen (Veneracion) Hernandez, she was loving wife of Domingo Dayrit. Lydia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist in the Philippines and later as a pharmacy technician in the United States. She dreamed of coming to America to make a better life for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing the piano, traveling, and going to the casino. She also loved the theatre, cruises, and Philadelphia sports. Lydia was a cancer survivor and devout Catholic who was caring, kind, strong, and determined. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend who was loved by all who knew her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Maria Mamrol (Francis), Delfin Dayrit (Aurora), Christina Dayrit (Niranjan Haridass), Dominick Dayrit (Karen), and Jennifer McGlone (Timothy); grandchildren, Natalie Mamrol, Alexander Mamrol, James Mamrol, Britney Dellanie Dayrit, Spencer Niranjan, Devon Dayrit, Dylan Dayrit, Brady McGlone, Joseph McGlone; and brothers, Magtangol Hernandez Jr. and Willie Hernandez. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Luzvimindo Hernandez, Leticia Hernandez, and Jaime Hernandez. Funeral services will be held privately.
