Lorretta G. Schirmer of Lansdale passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Born in Kulpsville, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Anne (Godshalk) Cressman. She was also the wife of the late Robert B. Schirmer.

She graduated from Lansdale High School and had various jobs while raising her children. She attended Hopewell Fellowship Church in Telford. She loved God and her family more than anything.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Schirmer of Souderton, son, Allen Schirmer (Cathy) of Trappe, daughter, Diane Detweiler (Willard) of Perkasie; six grandchildren, Kristen, Nathan, Robin, Krista, Jodi, and Brandon; six great grandchildren, Jon, Jeff, Joe, Jenna, Savannah, and Aidan; brother, Welly, and sisters, Alice and Annette. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Jim and Harry, and sisters, Valeria, Alma, Lorraine, and Patsy.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 1:30pm to 2:00pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Hopewell Christian Fellowship Church, 601 Hunsicker Road, Telford, PA 18969. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm. Refreshments will be provided after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to: Chosen 300 Ministries or Grief Share Ministries at Hopewell.
