Linda Haines Obituary LINDA LEE HAINES (nee Cassel) of Hatfield passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30, 2023 in hospice care at Grandview Hospital after a long battle with cancer and other health issues. Despite her immense bravery and the heroic efforts of her doctors, treatment was unsuccessful.
She was 77 years old and the beloved wife for almost 32 years to Gary W Haines and mother to Heather Staniszewski.
A graduate from North Penn High School, Linda held many jobs in her lifetime. She did everything from working on the pill line at Merck, to years spent at Green Twede, Moore Products in Springhouse, and finally helping others at Manor Care, Montgomeryville.
Known for her sense of humor and love for animals, Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Lindas family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by her devoted husband Gary, her daughter Heather, son-in-law Joseph, her brothers William and Robert, nieces Kim and Dawn, nephews Stephen, Darren, Scott, Greg, Chad, Paul, David, Charles, all their spouses and children, and her beloved dog, Zoe.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Dorothy Cassel, her sister Judith Knauer, and brother Warren "Bud" Cassel.
A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on January 6, 2024 at Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home, 19 E Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19401 and the family will receive friends and family there from 2-3:30pm. Interment will be private.
