Leslie Stringer Obituary Leslie Stringer Leslie Ann Stringer, age 64 of Norristown, PA, formerly of Purdy and Pierce City, MO, died on July 7 at Suburban Community Hospital in Norristown following years of poor health. Ms. Stringer was born on March 12, 1957, the daughter of the late Rose and Seybert Stringer. She earned a nursing degree from Reading (PA) Hospital School of Nursing, and worked for the Berks Visiting Nurse Association in Reading before moving to Missouri in 1986. In Missouri she worked as a registered nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital in Monett, South Barry County Hospital in Cassville, and served as director of nursing at Lacoba Homes in Monett in 1988 and 1989. She moved back to Pennsylvania in 1997. She is survived by her ex-husband, Murray Bishoff of Pierce City, MO, and a half-sister, Georgia Whitson of Philadelphia PA. The body has been cremated under the direction of Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home in Norristown. No services are planned. Services Private Service
