Leonards first priority and love was for his family. He enjoyed them and smiled the whole time they were together. Whether it was a holiday, an occasion, or just a simple week night dinner. His second love was a tie between the game of golf and his love of music. His enjoyment for being on the golf course was not whether he won or lost the game, but being with his friends and making new friends, coming home and telling his family all about his day and who he had met. Leonard loved listening to music and playing his organ. Some nights, as we were clearing the dinner table, Leonard would serenade us with song and playing the organ.
My brother and I were raised with very caring, loving, parents. He taught us to always be respectable and hope to get respect back in return. This is an important lesson for all of us to live by.
