Katherine Bucci Obituary * Katherine Anne Bucci December 1, 1953 November 21, 2021 (age 67) Katherine Anne Bucci (Serratore), 67, of Harleysville, PA, passed away surrounded by her husband and two sons. Our beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother will be missed eternally. Kathy was born on December 1, 1953 to the late Peter Serratore and Marjorie Serratore in Chestnut Hill, PA. She was a 1971 graduate of North Penn High School. In 1971, she met her husband, Dale Bucci while attending North Penn High School, and they were soon married on September 29, 1973. They laid down roots in Landsdale, PA, surrounded by extended family, and raised two boys. Above everything else, Kathy loved spending time with her family the most. She was also very loyal to her Philadelphia sports teams and was always in attendance for Phillies games each year. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and preparing huge meals for her small family. Kathy forced you to eat more than you thought you could and always packed leftovers for another meal later. Kathy was known for her sweet tooth and her famous pizzelle cookies that she made by the hundreds during the holidays. Kathy and Dale would travel every year to see her brother Pete in Los Angeles where they would bask in the sun each day, telling old stories, and laughing for hours. In the summer Kathy could be found perfecting her tan by the pool or relaxing in the sand in Ocean City, NJ. Kathy was a small woman, tough in character, stubborn as an ox, but full of love and pride. Kathy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dale Bucci, her two children, Josh Bucci, Nicholas Bucci, her daughter-in-law, Emily Steele, two grandchildren, Joe Bucci, Jane Bucci, her brother Michael Serratore, sister Beth Weckerly and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her family would like to thank her care teams at Einstein Hospital and Medical Center.
