Juliana Whittum Obituary JULIANA EASTWICK WHITTUM
Beloved mother, Juliana (Julie) Eastwick Whittum passed comfortably and peacefully Sunday February 12, 2023. She was a beautiful 91 years of age. Julie was born January 25th, 1932, to Edward Peers Eastwick the 3rd and Eleanor Bell Eastwick. She was raised in Wayne Pa. had two sisters Eleanor (June) Eastwick West and Debbie Eastwick Michell. She attended both Radnor (where she and her husband first met) and The Shipley school in Byrn Mawr Pa. graduating in 1950.
Julie was married to Charles (Buck) H. Whittum Jr. for 56 years, living in Radnor Pa., Mclean Va., Baltimore Md. then retiring on the Eastern Shore in Bozman outside St. Michaels Md. where they spent much time sailing the Chesapeake Bay. Julie was one of sharp intellect, deeply caring and compassionate, loving, giving, comforting, nurturing, creative, stylish, had a wonderful way with the written word, a very keen eye for art, fun, playful, her beautiful smile could light up a room, wise and a devoted wife and mother. Her home was her castle and sanctuary and she created several homes of much beauty and warmth. Her greatest Joys truly were her husband, children and grandchildren., but she will also be remembered for her love of life.
Mrs. Juliana Eastwick Whittum is survived by her adoring family son Cabell Eastwick Whittum, daughter Leslie Whittum Wilson, their spouses Georgine and Philip, her grandchildren Cory, Julie and Eleanor.
Julies kindness and caring nature gave others a sense of Honor and privilege" to have known her. She will be missed beyond measure. Memorial services and internment will be held in private at Washington Chapel in Valley Forge National Park.
