Judy Johns Obituary Ms. Judy Anne Pannigan Johns, 78, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Ms. Mardesta Stewart and Jack Pannigan, July 3, 1944, in Brooklyn, New York. Judy is survived by her two adult children: Julie Juanita Johns, of San Diego, CA and Michael Raymond Johns of Lancaster, PA. She is survived by five grandchildren and a host of great-children. The best way to describe my mother is through a poem that is fitting for her. A Mother never dies Her soul may slip away, her heart may stop beating, but she is still alive. You see, a Mother gives a bit of herself away to her family at every turn. She gives her love, unconditionally. She gives her compassion, (often with tears). She gives her wisdom, with every admonition. She gives her spirit, with every smile. And she gave her heart at the moment of her children's birth. Until one day, there would be no more to give. Nothing is greater, more honorable, nor more noble than the Mother who makes this sacrifice. Thank you Mother. Now rest in peace, knowing that you have given your all. The darkest of nights are now past. The light of the new day looms ahead. You are that light, instilled in your family guide us forever. We will carry your love, compassion, wisdom and dedication forever. We will share it with others. Be at peace. We love you.
