John “Jack” Leonard McGuigan, Jr., 66, of Blackwood, NJ, passed away on May 12, 2026. Born and raised in Bridgeport, PA, he was the son of the late John L. McGuigan, Sr. and Cecilia (née Tomczuk) McGuigan.

Jack was an avid sports enthusiast and took great pride in his athletic accomplishments, particularly in baseball as a pitcher. He pitched for two years at Montgomery County Community College, earning outstanding performance awards while completing his associate degree in Kinesiology.

He is survived by his son, John “Jack” McGuigan III; his loving girlfriend and companion, Carol Caserta; his sister, Cecilia McGuigan; and his nephews, Ronald Januzelli, Carl Januzelli, Joseph Zummo Jr., and Kenneth Silverwood Jr.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Marlene Januzelli and Mary Lou McGuigan.

Services and interment will be private. A celebration of life will be held in Bridgeport, PA (or the surrounding area) and will be open to all. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of Jack. Date and time to be announced.
