John Cinelli Obituary JOHN CINELLI OBITUARY John E. Cinelli, longtime high school teacher and coach, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (Sept. 28, 2022) with family by his side. He died after a long battle with cancer at the age of 82. Mr. Cinelli was born on January 20, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1959, he married the love of his life Janet Cinelli. He attended Collingdale High School, class of 1957, and West Chester University class of 1963. He later went on to achieve his masters in education from West Chester University. He was a teacher and a coach at Nether Providence and later, Strath Haven High School. He was a successful history teacher and spent many years coaching Football, Basketball, Girls Basketball and Girls Tennis. Mr. Cinelli taught for 35 years until his retirement from teaching in 1998. He is survived by his son, Dennis and daughter-in-law Karen of Lansdale, PA, his daughter, Clare Boyer of Eddy Stone, PA. and his brother, Louis Cinelli of Delaware and Ocean City, NJ He was a great inspiration and touched the lives of so many over many years.
