JoAnn Calhoun, 72, of Norristown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026 at the Norriton Square Nursing Center. Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Robert G. and Mary Theresa (née Gabriele) Waters. She was also the loving companion of the late Robert “Bob” Hoffman, who passed away in 2021.

Born in Norristown, JoAnn was raised in Bridgeport and spent most of her life in Phoenixville. She was a former employee of Bachman’s Potato Chips and the West Company as well as her last position at Vel-Tek in Great Valley where she worked until retiring in 2019.

She loved playing bingo locally and visiting the casinos with Bob in Atlantic City and various other places in PA and Delaware.

JoAnn is survived by her brother and only sibling, Daniel of Phoenixville, PA, two nieces, Sarah and Daniele, her only child, Denise Hendricks of Spring City, PA, and one grandchild, Liam of Mount Pocono, PA. She was predeceased by her parents and her partner Robert of 31 years.
