Joan Evan Obituary Joan M. (Fazio) Evan, resident of Sanatoga Ridge Community, Pottstown, PA passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born on August 5, 1940 to the late Salvatore and Joan (Ciccanti) Fazio. She is predeceased by her brothers, Charles and Martin Fazio. Joan is survived by her husband, Richard B. Evan, Sr. and her children, Richard Evan Jr. (MaryLou), Andrew Evan (Lynn), Paul Evan (Bunny) and Melissa Kalil (Joseph), brother Ron Fazio, sisters Marcia Keavney (Pete), Denise Santora (Joe), Mary Ellen Hoffman, Christine Mayberry (Jeff), grandchildren Richard and Daniel Evan, Samantha Musso (Kyle), Krista and Mandy Kalil, Jacob, Kelsey and Grace Evan, Martina, Gabriella and Elisha Evan, great-granddaughter Braya Evan, aunts Rose Fazio and Betty Ciccanti, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Joan grew up in Conshohocken, PA. She attended St. Matthews grade school and high school where she met the love of her life, Richard. Joan graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a degree in Chemistry. Shortly after college graduation, she and Richard married and started their family. Joan loved her family, cooking, knitting, crocheting, canning, and trips to Williamsburg. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, Richard. Joans favorite travel destination was Cadillac Mountain, Maine where she and Richard spent their honeymoon. Joan, most of all, loved the Lord. She was an avid prayer warrior and was instrumental in leading many of her family members to Christ. Her bold and honest words have encouraged many of her family and friends over the years. Joan was a member of Spring City Fellowship for over 30 years. She was a member of the worship team and loved singing praises to the Lord while shaking her tambourine.
