Jeffrey Glassman Obituary Jeffrey "Jeff" Michael Glassman, 40, passed away on February 22nd, in Akron, PA.
Jeff was born to Barbara Clarke and Alan Glassman on October 18th, 1983 in Lancaster, PA.
He will be dearly remembered as a devoted father, husband, family member, and friend who found joy in making others laugh and always had a smile on his face.
Jeff is survived by his wife of ten years, Stevie Barnes-Glassman. Their children, Brielle and Grayson Glassman, were Jeffs greatest treasures. He also cherished his loving sister, Lori (Glassman) Henne, and his extended family.
As a member of division 88M in the Army Reserves, Jeff dutifully served overseas during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2013. He cherished the bonds that were made during his time served.
Jeff later worked as a truck driver for Denver Cold Storage, and although his employment there was shortened due to chronic injury from his time in the military, he enjoyed his job and being on the road.
Jeff was passionate about a variety of activities. He was delightfully nerdy when it came to all things involving history and the paranormal. He loved cars and could spend hours talking about them to anyone who wanted to listen. He was happiest when teaching his children about anything with wheels and a motor.
Jeff is predeceased by Dorothy Catherine (Sweigart) Bixler (Grandmother) Heber Woodrow Bixler (Grandfather), Woodrow Lee Bixler (Uncle), and Mark Alan Glassman (Brother).
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. More information will be provided when available.
