Janice M. Petriello Obituary Janice (Huckin) Petriello, age 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in the Collegeville home she shared with her long-time boyfriend, Stephen Galie. She attended Bishop Kenrick High School and was certified as a beautician, hairstylist, esthetician, and caregiver. Driven by her spirituality and desire to perform acts of service, Janice was a pillar of the community. She would often stop to talk to strangers, bearing gifts, sharing words of hope and triumph, and always, above all, leaving them with a smile. Janices strong sense of family came from her mother Joan and father Charles (who both predeceased her). She possessed a sisterly bond that was unbreakable and a strong foundation of how she aimed to softly love and accept others. She drew her "rough house" style of playfulness from her brothers, often reminiscing on the "got ya last" tag game she would play with her brother Tommy that prevailed through generations, as well as over state lines. Janices proudest accomplishment was the eternal love she was able to pass onto her two children Dana and Joseph. Her unconditional love, fierce determination, and selflessness was so strong it is now apparent in her grandchildren Mirabella and Lorelei. Janice, above all, loved to be a grandmother. Janice changed the lives of many people. Those who knew her take that memory and the lessons she shared to change the lives of the ten people she was closest to. Those ten will change the lives of ten more, and ten more and ten more . . . Janice is survived by her long-time partner, Steve, her son, Joseph, daughter, Dana, brother Thomas (Mary) Huckin, sister Joni (Ron) Stepanian, sister Debbie Huckin, her two grandchildren, Mirabella and Lorelei, as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jacci Huckin and brother, Michael Huckin. As Janice would always say "Go live life live".
