Hildegarde Bland Obituary Hildegarde Bland nee Palisch, passed away on June 10th, 2022, in Abington, Pennsylvania. She was 98 years old. Born on December 23rd, 1923, in Passaic, New Jersey she was the beloved daughter of Josef and Mary Palisch. She was the eldest of three sisters. She was the devoted mother of Fern Piazza nee Bland. She was also a loving caretaker, who took an instrumental role in raising three generations of her family after her, and who was always a beacon of support and love to any who came into her life. She always said that those who were the hardest to love needed love the most, and truly lived by that statement. Hilda loved to read, knit, vacation in Cape May, her cats, but most of all, her family. She was also very artistic. Spending her life alongside her daughter Fern, Hilda was the bedrock of her family, and her passing has left a hole in the hearts of those she touched that can never be filled. She is preceded in death by her sister Edna Orosz, and grandson Charles Piazza and survived by daughter Fern of Abington, PA, sister Dolores Sedlak, grandson Scott Piazza of Philadelphia, PA, great-grandsons Scott Piazza (Michelle) of Middletown, PA and Alexander Ginocchio of Port Richey, FL; and many other loving nieces, nephews, and cousins, too numerous to be named.
