IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frederick Allen
Rudesyle
September 11, 1943 – March 26, 2025
Frederick Allen Rudesyle, 81, of North Wales, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 26, 2025, at Abington Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with dementia.
Born on September 11, 1943, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Fred was the son of Daniel and Pauline Rudesyle. His early years in Scranton shaped his values of hard work, family, and community, which he carried throughout his life.
Fred pursued his passion for design at Temple University, where he studied Architecture. Though he later transitioned into a successful career in Management and Sales, he was always tinkering and fixing things around the house, tackling projects with a kind of "barbarian" enthusiasm – rarely deterred by instructions and always determined to get the job done, his way. He married Claire Schuldt on May 19, 1967. Together, they built a family, and a life filled with love and laughter.
Fred was known for his green thumb and spent countless hours tending to his garden, finding peace and tranquility in nature. He also cherished trips to the beach with his family, arriving early and staying late to soak up every last ray of sunshine. He was often found beyond the breakers, floating peacefully on his back, enjoying the vastness of the ocean. Above all, Fred was an exceptional father and grandfather, roles he embraced with immense pride and dedication. He coached his sons' soccer teams, creating lasting memories with weekly roller-skating outings. As a father, he was an exceptional steady Quarterback for his boys, yelling the phrase "Go Deep!" so he could throw a touchdown to them. Fred also shared a special bond with his daughter, Amy, spending countless hours watching TV and enjoying leisurely rides together. Fred's selflessness extended to his grandchildren, as he was always ready to drop everything to spend time with them, creating cherished memories that they will hold dear forever. Fred's defining trait was his boundless love for his family, whom he protected fiercely, a devotion that extended to his sons' spouses and his cherished grandchildren.
Fred is survived by his beloved wife, Claire, his children, Jeff and his wife Dana, Brian and his wife Marybeth, Mark and his wife Teresa, and Amy. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren: Madison, Sadie, Amya, Jackson, Eli, Jeremiah, and Alexandria, who brought him immeasurable joy and were a constant source of pride.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to organizations dedicated to dementia research and support, such as the Alzheimer's Association.
A celebration of Fred's life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
