Elaine Simmons Jacot of Philadelphia passed away at Chestnut Hill Hospital on September 27, 2025 at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of Harry E. Jacot.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Lynn and Joan (Cummings) Simmons. Elaine was an avid Chicago Bear's fan. She was a graduate of Upper Merion High School. For almost 40 years, she was a cornerstone for the legal community in medical malpractice. She was renowned for her unwavering integrity and profound understanding of the law.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Edward Jacot, niece Jessica Simmons, and brother Scott Simmons.

Relatives and friends are invited to Elaine's Funeral Mass on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 819 E. Cathedral Road, Philadelphia, PA 19128. A visitation with the family will precede Mass from 10am to 10:50am in the church. Interment will be private.
