Effie's journey began, January 3, 1955, in Philadelphia, Pa. Graduating from Chichester High School, Class of 1974. Her vibrant personality, radiant smile, and deep faith in God, were a guiding light, through the struggles and trials of life.
Effie's greatest joys were to be found in time spent with family. The everlasting memories that Effie bestowed on our hearts are a testament to her loving nature, kind words, and the warmth she brought to all those around her.
She leaves behind her siblings Laurie Emrick-Hund (Sacramento, CA), Anita Longacre (Bloomsburg, PA), Jimmy Rogers (Bloomsburg, PA), Charles Emrick (North Carolina), and Richard Emrick (Delaware), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A legacy of love and resilience unmatched, inspires us today and forever more.
