Christopher Douglass Obituary Christopher James Douglass (CJ), 29, suddenly passed away on January 28th, 2022. Christopher was born on February 29th, 1992 to Daniel and Christine (Falcone) Douglass of Norristown. He resided in Norristown for most of his upbringing, though his family moved every now and then. During his childhood, he spent lots of his time with his younger sister, Daniele, and his many cousins from both the Douglass and Falcone sides of his family. He attended a few elementary schools, Stewart Middle School and Norristown Area High School, where he graduated in 2010. CJ was an avid football and baseball player growing up. He spent many years playing football as a Norristown Bandit and participated in various Norristown recreation teams. Throughout high school, he managed to make the newspaper numerous times for both football and baseball. In his junior year of high school, he was even selected for All-Area First Team Defense in 2009 for football! He began working in construction at an early age alongside his father, Danny. Following graduation, he started to work doing skylights and eventually started landscaping. He was lucky enough to travel for during a brief time. CJ continued to play softball through the years following high school on different mens and co-ed leagues. He was loved by so many of his teammates. He was a great player and an even better friend. CJ thrived when he was on the field with his teammates it was his happy place. CJ loved to refer to himself "fatboy." (Probably because of how much he loved cheesesteaks ) If you spent even 5 minutes with him, you know he always told the corniest jokes. They were silly, but you couldnt help but laugh! His laugh often made you laugh even more. He truly had the best laugh! CJ had a loving, kind-hearted, and sentiment soul. Regardless of what was going on in life, you knew he was always concerned about his loved ones. He is survived by his father, Daniel W. Douglass and sister, Daniele (Eric) Calhoun, grandfather Rick (Ruth) Falcone, and his many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William "Bozo" and Joyce Douglass, grandmother, Margaret "Peggy" Falcone, and mother, Christine M. Douglass. He will be so, so deeply missed by all of his friends and family!! A gathering for a life celebration will be held at the Norristown Maenner-Chor Club on Saturday, February 26th from 1-4 pm.
