Charles Vaszily Sr. Obituary On 12/15/2021 at 1:11 am Sgt. Charles Joseph Vaszily Sr. formerly of Norristown, PA passed away peacefully at the Laurel House Nursing Home in Hamburg, PA after a brief illness. Born on 6/12/1947 to the late John William Vaszily, Sr. and Anne (Tague) Vaszily. Charlie was a hero of the Vietnam War and was Honorably discharged in September of 1972. Charlies family was his life. He was the loving father of his 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great grandson on the way. He is survived by his wife Theresa (Feremento) Vaszily, son Charles Joseph Vaszily, Jr. Daughter-in-law Bobbi Joi (Lane) Vaszily, daughter Sherry Vaszily, Son in law Thomas Casey, daughter Dawn (Vaszily) Hamm and Son in law Wilson Hamm. Charlie was survived by his brothers John Vaszily of Arizona, George Vaszily of PA, Joseph Vaszily of PA, sister Mary (Vaszily) Ragan of Florida and Shirley (Vaszily) Kline of Florida. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Betty (Vaszily) Makowski and his son Brian Vaszily. At Charlies request there will be no viewing however a memorial service will be held at a later date. Services Family to do services at later date
