Carmen A. Molinaro Obituary With his family at his side, Carmen A. Molinaro left this world in peace on Thursday March 7, 2024. Born in Norristown on September 11, 1933, Carmen was the son of the late Carmella (nee Nave) and Giacomo Molinaro. After graduation from Norristown High School, Carmen enlisted in the Army, where he received basic training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and later served at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. While serving in the Army, he met the love of his life Frances Rose Marinello, with whom he subsequently married after his Army discharge and was fortunate to share over 60 years of matrimony. In addition to his wife Frances, Carmen is survived by the apple of his eye his beloved daughter Donna and his son-in-law George Moran. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Lena (nee Marinello) McMonigle, sister- & brother-in-law Jo and Anthony Marinello, and many adored nieces and nephews. Carmen was predeceased in death by his daughter Maryann and son John, sisters Josephine and Mary, brother Anthony, sister-in-law Dolly (nee DiBatista), and brother-in-law Jack McMonigle. A carpenter by trade, Carmen worked for the Carpenters Union #1595 until retirement. Carmen loved his backyard barbeque parties, playing bocce, and teaching his nieces and nephews the finer points of backyard volleyball. In his later years, Carmen volunteered his time with the Shannondell Railroad Club and found great enjoyment in wood carving and competing in billiards. Relatives and friends invited to his visitation on Wednesday March 13, 2024 from 8:45 to 9:45 AM followed by Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church 1260 South Trooper Road, Norristown, (Betzwood Section) Entombment to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
