Boyd Spencer Obituary Boyd Spencer, age 80, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away on August 30, 2021. Boyd was born on November 14, 1940, in Philadelphia to the late William Boyd Spencer, Jr. and Dorothy Evelyn Spencer, nee Geiger. He was married to Elena Geonzon Spencer for 43 years. Boyds sister, E. Jane Spencer lives in South Philadelphia. Boyds son Stephen Boyd Spencer lives in Tucson AZ, and is father to Boyds grandchildren, Amber Danielle Hymore, Gabriela Meriah Balmer and Stephanie Rose Spencer. Amber is mother to Boyds two great grandsons, Gavin and Miles. Boyds daughter, Maria Veneranda Spencer Patti, lives in Blue Bell PA, and is mother to Boyds grandchildren, Rebecca Ashley Patti and Alexander James Patti. Boyd earned a Bachelor of Business Degree at Temple University in 1970, a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science at Penn State University in 1972, and a Juris Doctor Degree from Temple University School of Law in 1978. The majority of his legal career was spent representing motorcyclists who were injured in motor vehicle accidents. Boyds hobby was flying. He was a Certified Flight Instructor for single and multi engine aircraft and for instrumental flight. He held a single engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, with commercial privileges in multi engine aircraft and helicopters. Boyd accrued approximately 3,000 hours of flight time. Boyd was a member of Church Council at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, ECLA, in Plymouth Meeting.
