Obituary

Alba Leonor Debbaudt (nee Flores), 80, of Norristown, PA, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, she was the daughter of Alba Almendares. Raised by a large, loving family, she competed in many beauty pageants and while working as a bank teller, met her future husband Pierre Debbaudt, of San Diego, CA, who was an international banker.

After marriage, she and her young family lived in San Francisco, CA, in Brussels, Belgium, and finally settling in Wayne, PA. She graduated from Rosemont College with Bachelor Degrees in Art History and Fine Arts. Alba was an extremely talented still-life watercolor painter who presented her work in juried shows and fine art competitions along the Philadelphia Mainline. She was also a gourmet cook who specialized in French cuisine. She worked as an interpreter in her later years, as she was fluent in Spanish and French.

Alba is survived by her son Marcel Debbaudt, of Conshohocken, PA, her daughter Madeleine Debbaudt, of Plymouth Meeting, PA, her three grandchildren John, Lauren and Paul Debbaudt, of Lafayette Hill, PA, and her sister Claudia Echeverria of Capitola, CA.

A private family ceremony will honor her life and legacy.

Arrangements entrusted to Raffeo-DiCecco Memorial Home. (610) 630-3259
