Abraham Ramsey was born Wednesday, September 12, 1945 in Kingstree, SC to the late Mr. & Mrs. Garfield & Pearl Ramsey, he transitioned Tuesday, May 19, 2026, he was 81 years old, he graduated high school, he became a certified licensed CDL driver, he became the owner & president of his own trucking company called "ANT LUV TRUCKIN", he retired from Dana Corporation in Pottstown, Abe was a member of the following fraternal organizations; Keystone Lodge #113 in Pottstown, Martin Luther King Consistory No. 86 in Norristown, PA and Montgomery Elks Lodge 1271 in Pottstown and was a member of Grimes before marriage.

Abe Ramsey was blessed with a beautiful family; He married the love of his life Dora Gregory 1968, 4 years later here comes Abraham Lincoln, Jr. "AKA LINC" then 2 years later here comes Anthony "AKA Ant Lov". During the last year of his life as his mind deteriorated his wife Dora became "THAT NICE LADY"...UNCLE ABE WAS SWEET AS A BUTTON. He enjoyed; horseback riding, traveling, watching National Geographic, basketball, one of his favorite song was by the ROLLS ROYCE(I'm workin at the car wash) with his Doberman Pinscher dog name TEX as they sit in the garage and he liked telling stories, his favorite saying was ' OH YEAHHH, YA DON'T SAY'.

Abe Ramsey left behind, wife Dora Ramsey from Spring City, PA, Linc Ramsey from Florida, Anthony Ramsey from Kansas, Grandchildren: Adrian, RANA, Anthony, Jr. Austin & Olivia, daughter-in-law Angela Ramsey, sisters and brothers: Gloria McGraw from Kingstree, Solomon Ramsey from Kingstree, SC, Kay Ramsey from Phoenixville, PA, Carolyn Gregory from Douglasville, PA, James & Mamie Sanders from Harleysville, PA, Willie Gregory from Pottstown, PA, Michael Gregory from Norristown, PA and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brothers and Sisters proceded in death: Louis Ramsey, Lillie Mae Crabb/John Crabb, Bertha Barr/Booker T. Barr, Betty Gaddy, Sarah Dawkins, James Ramsey, Dennis Gregory, Thomas Gregory, Mary L.Gilyard, Alice Meriweather and Mattie (Lou Lou) Gregory.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 10:00am to 10:45am at the Grimes AME Church, 338 Morris Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. A funeral service will follow in church at 11:00am. Interment in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville.
